Shortly before the concert evening on 19 October, musical star Maximilian Mann spontaneously agreed to join us – he can currently be seen as Dschinni in Disney’s “Aladdin” in Stuttgart.
We are absolutely thrilled about this spontaneous commitment: Maximilian Mann, who currently plays the genie Dschinni, the lead role in the Disney musical “Aladdin” at the Apollo-Theater Stuttgart, will enrich our big concert evening.
Training and First Engagements
Maximilian Mann, who grew up in Salzgitter, studied acting, singing and dance at the Berlin University of the Arts, graduating with distinction. He was a prizewinner of the German national singing competition, the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang. While still a student, Maximilian performed at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau in “ONE TOUCH OF VENUS” and at the Neuköllner Oper Berlin in “EIN HERZ SUCHT EINEN PARKPLATZ” and “MEIN AVATAR UND ICH”, among others. Engagements followed at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen in “DER MANN VON LA MANCHA”, at the Musicaltheater Bremen in “DIE DREI VON DER TANKSTELLE”, and at the Berlin Wintergarten Varieté.
From Vienna to Shanghai
In 2012 he played the role of Hans Hermann von Katte in the world premiere of “FRIEDRICH – MYTHOS UND TRAGÖDIE” and the title role in the musical “RHÖNPAULUS” in Dermbach. He then took the title role in “KOLPINGS TRAUM” and appeared in the Broadway hit “NATÜRLICH BLOND” at the Ronacher in Vienna. In October 2013 he also performed in the German-language premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “LOVE NEVER DIES” in Vienna, where he later returned for the German-language premiere of “MARY POPPINS”.
Further engagements followed at the Stadttheater Magdeburg as Brad Majors in the “ROCKY HORROR SHOW”, as Emperor Franz Joseph on a tour of Germany in the worldwide hit “ELISABETH”, at the Thunerseespiele as Joe/Josephine in “SUGAR – MANCHE MÖGEN’S HEISS”, as Prince-Archbishop Colloredo in “MOZART!” in Duisburg and Shanghai, and in “DRACULA” and “ZORRO” at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven. After playing Captain Phoebus de Martin in Disney’s “DER GLÖCKNER VON NOTRE DAME” from 2017 to 2019, Maximilian can currently be seen as Dschinni in “DISNEYS ALADDIN” in Stuttgart.
