On stage on 21 October: Nico Schliemann, guitarist of the band Glasperlenspiel.

Nico Schliemann comes from the Stuttgart area, has been playing guitar for 25 years and studied at the Jazz & Rockschule in Freiburg at the age of just 16. He has worked as a guitar teacher for over 13 years and has made a name for himself above all as a coach: time and again, guitarists from southern Germany come to him when they hit a plateau, are looking for new approaches or want to explore the instrument in greater depth. In 2011 he won second place as best newcomer at the international guitar contest "Guitar Idol III" in London.

Since early 2013 he has mainly been touring with the German electro-pop act Glasperlenspiel – including the big arenas on the 2015 summer tour as support for Helene Fischer. Beyond that, Nico is very active in the German session scene: with the NightLive Band, as a guest with The Wright Thing, Westbunch or Wolf Codera's Session Possible. He has also shared the stage with many other artists, including:

  • Gregor Meyle
  • Elli Erl (DSDS)
  • Percival Duke (The Voice of Germany)
  • Rolf Stahlhofen (Söhne Mannheims)
  • Stefan Stoppok
  • The Wheater Girls
