After a moving visit to the paediatric oncology ward at the Klinikum Stuttgart, WUAHL had the honour of presenting 7,500 EUR to the project HOPPS.
Moments like these are the reward for all the hard work: on Friday, we visited the paediatric oncology ward at the Klinikum Stuttgart and met the medical director of HOPPS (home-based paediatric oncology care Stuttgart), Claudia Blattmann, whose positive energy left a deep impression on us. After a very moving tour of the lovingly decorated, Christmassy rooms and a few delightful encounters with the young patients, our board members Gudrun Sirsch and Prof. Dr. Dirk Schieborn, together with Katrin Stroezel and Matthias Stroezel of the SSC Stiftung, had the honour of presenting a cheque for 7,500 EUR to HOPPS.

The Proceeds from “WUAHL pianissimo”
The donation is the result of our first double concert “WUAHL pianissimo” in November 2025, our new concert format at the Marmorsaal Stuttgart, which was exclusively supported by the SSC Stiftung – as well as the special support of dear friends.
This visit confirmed once again that we have been putting our energy and creativity to work in exactly the right place – and will continue to do so. We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a healthy, peaceful new year!
