Two photos of the Wolfbusch children’s choir side by side: on the left a close-up of children in red T-shirts singing, on the right the whole choir from the side in a beam of light

Matthias Stroezel and Lena Dünser photographed our concert on 17 October – each in their own way. Together, their almost 400 pictures tell the story of the whole evening, from the soundcheck to the last applause.

If you were at the Friedenskirche Ludwigsburg on 17 October, you can now relive the evening – twice over. Two photographers were at work for us, and looking through their pictures we noticed how differently one and the same evening can be seen. The title image shows it: the same choir, two perspectives. You can find both complete galleries under Photos 2026.

Matthias: right in the spotlight

Matthias Stroezel was right up close to the stage. His 180 photos show the soloists, band and choirs pin-sharp and in vivid colour: beaming faces, big gestures and the lighting design in blue, gold and red. A heartfelt thank you, Matthias!

Lena: the stories on the sidelines

Lena Dünser of @visuals.by.lena captured the evening from another side. She was already there for the soundcheck in the afternoon and photographed the queue at the entrance, the heart-shaped biscuits at the donation table and the play of light on the vault. Her pictures are full of atmosphere, often taken from unusual angles, some in black and white.

Lena has been working professionally as a photographer and videographer for a year. What matters most to her is telling the story of an event in a creative and authentic way: not just capturing moments, but catching the emotions, the atmosphere and the special details so that you can feel them again when you look at the pictures. She was already with us with her camera at our big rehearsal. A heartfelt thank you, Lena!

Together, a whole evening

Matthias shows what happened on stage. Lena shows what it felt like. Together, their pictures make a photo album in which, we hope, everyone will find themselves – whether they were on stage that evening, helping behind the scenes or celebrating in the audience. Thank you both for your time, your eye and your heart for this evening. ❤️
